Q: Where are you located? Do you have a storefront?
A: We are conveniently located in central Frisco, in a fully-equipped home studio that is designated specifically for massage. We’re about a quarter-mile east of Preston and Stonebrook/Rolater intersection. However, we don’t have a storefront, and our location can only be visited by appointment.
Q: Do you have anything available today?
A: It never hurts to call us and ask! However, same-day in-office appointments are rare, and we recommend scheduling as far in advance as possible. Out-of-office massage, such as a housecall or chair massage require scheduling in advance by at least several days.
Q: Do you do Hot Stone massage? / What kinds of services do you offer?
A: We use Hot Stones in practically every massage (except Prenatal, reflexology, or Lymphatic massage). You’ll find our Integrated and Hot Stone pages especially helpful.
Q: Do you do Deep Tissue? / Can you go very deep?
A: “Deep tissue” often means different things to different people, so it depends on what it means to you and what kind of experience you’re looking for. We have our limitations but we’ve kept the same clientele we opened with and have never had any complaints. If you’ve had a Swedish fluff-&-buff massage that didn’t seem to do anything for you and you’re looking for a firmer-pressure massage, we can handle that nicely. People especially love our neck and shoulder work. However, if you have a very high pain threshold and you’re convinced that “it has to hurt or it’s no good/the harder the better”, we are probably not the right therapists for you.

Q: How can I give massage as a gift? / Do you sell gift certificates?
A: Gift certificates are available either online by credit card or in the office by cash.
Q: Can I schedule an appointment for someone else?
A: Unfortunately, no. From our experience, there is too much potential for communication mishaps, and more importantly, we’d like to speak with the person him- or herself in order to get a feel for their goals and preferences, and to make sure the desired session length is appropriate for those goals. We do make one exception, and that is in the case of a parent scheduling an appointment for their minor child.
Q: Do you do couples’ massage?
A: Our studio is too small to accommodate two tables, but we do have two portable tables, and we’re happy to make a housecall.
Q: Do you do spa treatments?
A: We only offer massage therapy and integrative bodywork such as cold laser treatment, biofeedback, and acupressure. We have a few fellow home-based and mobile practitioners who offer more spa-like services that we trust and we’d be happy to give you a referral.
