Why stress yourself out on your way to your massage when we can come to you?

We happily offer home visits (also known as “housecalls” or “outcalls”) on Saturday mornings/early afternoons, and occasionally Sunday or Friday, in the early afternoon. We regret that scheduling is limited because we’re both full-time graduate students. Please understand that housecalls require advance scheduling of at least several days because a larger block of time is being reserved.

Note: To cancel, reschedule, or make changes to a scheduled housecall, please give at least 48 hours’ notice.

Why consider a home visit?

• Mobility challenges – when it’s hard to get around
• Time constraints or distance issues – if the drive to our studio is long or stressful for you, eliminate it!
• Get the most out of your massage – in the comfort of your own familiar sanctuary, you can relax more deeply. And without having to drive immediately afterward, the benefits of massage will last longer!

We bring it all:

• The table - complete with extra foam padding and a table warmer for your comfort
• Extra pillows, including bolsters or pillows for Pre-natal (pregnancy) massage
• Linens – a fresh set is available for each client (we also bring an extra top blanket)
• Jojoba oil (pure and unscented) and a vast array of optional essential oils to choose from upon advance request.

You are welcome to provide your own linens (twin size), blankets, pillows, or music, if you prefer.  Please let us know if you prefer to provide any of your own supplies (such as sheets or blankets) when reserving your appointment.

For your massage benefit, please consider:

• Noise from inside – children, spouses coming home from work, barking dogs, other pets, doorbells, phone ringers, TV.  Will there be other people in the room while we work? You may prefer to turn off the phone ringers within the room.
• Noise from outside – air traffic (if you live next to an airport), lawn mowers, street traffic.
• Environmental elements – temperature of the room, amount of light from the windows.  We provide weighted herbal eye pillows to block out light while you lie face-up, and upon request, we’ll bring flannel sheets and/or a heating pad.

Note: please know that a housecall takes plenty of extra time.  There is the setup beforehand, the packing up afterward, and the time in between massages (if more than one person is getting massage – we usually take 10-20 minutes in between to properly prepare for the next person).  Thus, please take this into consideration when scheduling your appointment into a busy day.  (This extra time absolutely does NOT come out of your massage time at all.) We simply ask that each person being massaged is ready at the scheduled start time.

What we need in order to provide a home visit:

• Smoke-free and chemical spray-free environment - we can only come to homes with fresh air, due to breathing issues and the desire for odors not to be absorbed by our equipment and supplies. Scented candles are perfectly fine, but please refrain from using aerosol sprays (think Glade/Lysol, RAID bug killer, Pledge, or hairspray) or heavy perfumes within several hours of your session.
• Ground floor – our equipment is heavy and there’s a lot of it. Due to previous back injuries, we cannot haul the equipment up stairs. A few (2-5) front steps are OK.
• Plenty of space – we need at least an 8x10-foot space for massage.  This ensures that we can give you the proper pressure—and thus more relaxed and consistent massage—without straining.
• Close parking – either right outside the front or in a rear driveway is best.
• A clear walkway – to avoid damage to belongings and injuries to yourselves and us, we need a large clear path, both outside (in the case of narrow pathways or ice on walkways or steps) and inside the house.
• Enough light to see by – if your lights are on a dimmer, please by all means take advantage! We do ask that we have enough light to work by to avoid spilling oil and other unforeseeable mishaps.
• A clock that is viewable in a dim room – most clients simply supply a digital clock radio, which we gladly appreciate.
• A soundsystem, if you’d like music during your massage. We have a decent selection of music, so please specify if you prefer any particular artist or genre, or feel free to provide your own favorite CD. (We apologize that we don’t currently have a portable soundsystem.)

Service area and pricing:

Service area: Generally, we tend to include the following cities in our radius: Frisco, Plano, Allen, Far North Dallas, McKinney, The Colony, Prosper, Celina, Addison, and Little Elm. We will also travel to parts of Carrollton, Richardson, North Dallas, Lewisville, Farmers Branch, Parker, and some surrounding outlying areas.

Cost: We make it easy--no surcharges or mileage calculations. Pricing is generally a flat $110 per hour, all-inclusive (per therapist if more than one therapist is requested), regardless of distance.  There are no extra travel or mileage charges within the service area. There is a 1.5-hour minimum for a single person, or a 1-hour minimum each for two or more people.  If you’d like to experience the additional therapeutic benefits of Cold Laser therapy, please let us know!  Please visit our Services page for details on additional pricing. Cancellation Policy on Housecalls:

All housecalls to first-time clients are reserved with a credit card.  There is always an option to pay cash or check (with proper ID) at the time of the appointment, in which case the credit card will not be charged.

To shorten, postpone, or cancel/reschedule an appointment, we require at least 48 hours’ notice.  For all late cancellations or changes, the card will be charged 50% of the amount of the original session, and any cancellation or change made within 1 hour or less of the scheduled start time, the full amount of the original service will be charged.
